  • How do I get my child enrolled in your school?
    You need to get a application form school office. For any queries in the application form, please refer to the school office. Please note that submission of the application for admission form does not ensure admission to the school.
  • Do you accept new enrollments in the middle of an academic session?
    We understand that sometimes the child has to relocate, and this may not necessarily happen at the start of an academic year. Mid-year admission applications are accepted on a case to case basis. You may contact us as soon as you intend to enroll your child at SJIS.
  • Which curriculum or board do you follow?
    Our school follow CBSE curriculum.
  • Does the school have a transport service for the children?
    Yes, we do. Our buses run on 5-6 different routes and cover a radius of over 20-30 kilometers everyday.
  • What additional costs can I expect?
    Our fee structure clearly outlines all the costs associated with the education of your child in our school. We do not have any ‘hidden’ fees.
  • Till what standard can my child study in your school?
    Till now our school has classes from Nursery to Standard 10th
  • Is my child required to take an admission test?
    If the child is to join Class I or higher, an assessment is conducted. Reports from the child’s previous school are required for this assessment. Only upon satisfactory completion of this, admission is offered to the child.
  • What is documentation required for admission?

  • My child has had little or no English; will STJIS accept him/her?
    Yes, we do accept students with little or no English skills.
  • Will my child learn English?
    Yes! Our school's curriculum is constructed in such way that within short period of time normally children get started speaking in English.

  • Will my child be expected to do homework?
    Yes, student learning does not stop when children go home for the day. There is an age-appropriate amount of homework that should be done on a daily basis.
